Microwave oven generating smoke?
I mistakenly overcooked some frozen food in my microwave. It started generating smoke. I disconnected the microwave immediately and opened the windows to refresh the air in the apartment. When the smoke went away, I opened the door and found it was all ash.. My question is, is it normal for microwaves to leak smoke when something like this happens?Thanks...Thanks for the replies BabyGirl and Bob. Please forgive my ignorance, but if microwaves have vents, is that not an escape route for microwave radiation?
