Question: How can i cover my settee and other household furniture to protect it from damage when i move house?

Buy some large plastic bags for the cushions and either thick brown wrapping paper or rolls of polythene for the settee. You can buy both these on Ebay

If you can dissemble the furniture that will make moving much easier. Once you dissemble them, get them to group and bubble wrap them to protect them during moving. One thing to bear in mind is to keep the assembly instruction just in case you don't remember how to re-assemble the furniture after your house move.
