Question: I burned saran wrap on to the bottom of my farberware pot. how do i get it off. months trying, to no avail?

Use a mixture of hot water and baking soda. Rub it off with a non metalic 3M pot scrubber. If that's not successful, then invest in Bar Keepers Friend. barkeepersfriend.com/ products.htm Good Luck, ;-)

Try goo be gone you buy it at the hardware store.it gets of stuff like tape the sticky part of tape after you get the tape off it's the only thing i can think of that might actualy get the saran wrap off your pot.it would not hurt to try it.

Try some acetone (common, not gel, nail polish remover). Make sure you clean pot well after.

Try Orangsol(a citrus cleaner) or something like it.. I use it at work all the time.. It takes off adhesives, tar, glues,, etc.. Its pretty amazing stuff!!
