Question: Are there any cutlery sets (flatware sets) in the us which provide real soup spoons in the set?

I am setting up home in the United States and want to get a cutlery set(flatware set) which includes real soup spoons. So far all I have seen are sets with dessert spoons only. Do I have to bring a set in from overseas if I want soup spoons included, or is there a manufacturer which makes and sells a full set including both soup AND dessert spoons in the US? I am hoping I will find one here, as it will cost a lot to import a full set from overseas. I live in Hawaii. Do the other states have full and complete sets for sale? Ok, I found some real soup spoons online. To see what a true soup spoon looks like Have a look at http:/ / images.search.yahoo.com/ images/ view?back=http %3A %2F %2Fimages.search.yahoo.com %2Fsearch %2Fimages %3Fp %3Dsoup %2Bspoon %26fr %3Dyfp- t- 501 %26toggle %3D1 %26cop %3Dmss %26ei %3DUTF- 8 %26rand %3D1243456874068 &w=233 &h=233 &imgurl=www.thompsontents.com %2Fimages %2FSoupSpoon.jpg &rurl=http %3A %2F %2Fwww.thompsontents.com %2Fproducts_china.html &size=3k &name=SoupSpoon+jpg &p=soup+spoon &oid=cdd7d9bd0330bba6 &no=1 &tt=10, 667 &sigr=11g0m927c &sigi=11acbuua5 &sigb=13jjog9ke#FCar=2d05863f4f92bb38 The ones on sale here aren't as simple as I'd like them to be, but it's a start in my search. Thanks. Chanteuse, I don't know if you live in the US or not, but a true soup spoon is round at the end, and a dessert spoon is elongated, like a tablespoon only a little smaller. Dessert spoons are being sold as soup spoons in US sets. |
