Glass cookware is still available, but it has limitations. Years ago I tried to boil water on the range top in a Pyrex (oven safe) container. It blew up, sending shards all over the kitchen. Thanks be I wasn't standing next to it. Look for Visions cookware for range top, and Corning or Pyrex for oven cooking. All of these work in the microwave.

They're on the shelves at your local Bed, Bath & Beyond, Linens n' Things, Sur la Table, or Crate & Barrel.

Pyrex still has glass bakeware, but I'm uncertain what you mean by cookware

People found out they weren't all they expected them to be.

If you can't find them locally at Kmart (just saw some last week) start checking out the thrift shops and antique malls, you can get all sorts of different designs to mix and match or build up a set that all matches for really cheep prices. I use both corning ware and Pyrex and have found both at antique malls, which is great for when i break one... nice to know I can replace it easily.
