Is it safe to clean my kitchen countertops with Pledge?
I want to know if I can clean my marble kitchen counter with Pledge, if it's not poisonous in case of food contact. Should I rinse after I use it like with other cleaners like Fantastic?From the back of the Pledge can " Did you know Pledge is also great for a clean shine on Stainless Steel, Leather, Marble, Granite." I just wanted to know if it's really okay to use near the possibility of food contact.Yes, I want to make my dull marble kitchen countertop not so dull. Any ideas?
Dumb question, but how do I determine which light bulb to buy for my kitchen bulb?
I know this is a really dumb question but I seem to have a lot of those lately. I mean, I can build a computer from scratch and tell you what the next big stock is but I can't even buy the right bulb for the life of me So... details it's the stove light to be more specific. I went to the store to try to find an identical bulb but they were out at both Wal Mart and Home Depot according to the associates there . Thus, I figured I'd just order it off Amazon. Anyhow, there is a number 8 with an underline beneath it, it's 40watts and 120volts. I'm pretty sure it's made by GE, but considering that I'm trying to be more environmentally friendly and still frugal, the brand won't matter. So, who can help me out with this? Best answer gets 10 points and my appreciation. Thanks

I'm redoing my entire kitchen soon and am contemplating going Ikea. Has anyone done their cabinets and counter tops through them? Are you pleased with them? I am trying to to install a range hood , the wires from the hood, are black and white, and green. the green one is the ground wire, now my issue is that the wires coming from the wall are red white, and black, i do not know which wire should connect to what.what do i do with the ground wire

Having kitchen fitted, noticing so many things going wrong and the worst thing is most cant be rectified unless i want to pay out more money. My worktop was damaged but the fitter noticed it after he had cut it which meant i had to buy a new worktop cos it couldnt be replaced am i liable for negligence for not noticing it or is he? i didnt even get a chance to inspect it as he just took it and started cutting.

How can I get rid of the musty smell in my cabinets beneath the kitchen sink?
This house we moved into is very very old, and the cabinets are original. I don't want to replace them, but beneath the sink, i was putting in wire shelves, and noticed shallow curvy holes, as if eaten by insects a while back. There are none now, but moisture gets in and makes it smell musty. I've wiped it out with vinegar, and I'm airing it out with a fan now. Any more ideas?ok, but i know that bleach and vinegar make toxic fumes, but if i let the vinegar dry first, will it be okay to mix the two?
What's the best way to clean the bathroom and kitchen floors?
without having to get on my hands and knees and scrub the damm thing with clorox tile spray. Is there any kind of magic mop that will miraculously clean up my floors and dry itself clean without me having to wring it out in the tub or sink so all the dust particles wash off of it and clog my drains?Thanks

Lighting in my Kitchen, Ideas?
Ok, I live in a 2br condo so I have sort of a small kitchen, its not an eat in but its not tiny. Currently there is a 5 light Chandler type fixture, problem is it hangs kinda low and the celling is a tad low as it is. I was looking for a fixture that would be more flush with the celling but most of those only have 3 lights and 60w max and I'm afraid that's going to be too dim since the current fixture takes 5 60 watts.
