What do they put in kitchen sponges for sale?
When you buy a kitchen sponge it comes soft and full and a little sticky, and water that passes through it gets foam bubbles. However after a while this goes away, and when it dries it hardens up. What chemical is applied to the sponge to, I suppose, make it look more appealing to the consumer?
What makes my kitchen sink sprayer stink?
When I use the sprayer in my kitchen sink, it smells like rotten eggs or old pinto beans. It's a new sprayer and the smell isn't in the water other places and not under the sink, it's somehow in the cord itself. Is there a way to clean it or remove the odor? Thanks.

Is this a gas pipe in my kitchen? Help!?
I have an electric oven at the moment and would prefer gas stove top. I looked behind our electric oven and there is this pipe. Is this a gas pipe? I cant seem to find any way of finding out. I'm guessing if it is gas its been disconnected somewhere

THEY FLY AND THEY DIE IN LIKE ONE DAY. its everywhere i was cooking pasta and after i drained it, i found the small looking beetles the pasta was inside a box ... when i was making pancakes, i was mixing all the ingredients together and i found the small looking beetles the pancake mix was inside a box .. and i found these bugs on the roof of my stove and it drops down to my stove... i found one inside my bottle of dish detergent i found them on the ceiling of my dining room and it drops down on my dining table... i found them on scattered all over my end table right next to the light.. WHAT IS IT? IT IS GROSSING ME OUT
What color should i paint my kitchen?
I have honey oak cabinets and trim and currently the walls are a deep red, but I'm not to fond if it anymore. I'm not sure what color would look good with the cabinets and trim. What is in now I am more into the modern look I really like that paint that are being used on new homes, but have no idea what color is used.

The rubber seal on my kitchen sink stopper strainer plug stainless steel has perished. Inside diameter is 26mm and outside about 54mm. Thickness approx 5mm. Overall diameter of strainer is 95mm. Would a rubber gromit of same specs do?.

So basically I have a 1970's kitchen with yellow counter tops and dark wood cabinets. I can't afford new counter tops but I don't know what color would look good. Trying to sand old kitchen cabinets with almost 4 layers of paint on them?

The kitchen has vaulted ceilings so I cannot mount up, I have to mount on the sides, and to each other and then we are drywalling the back side which faces the dining room ...I cannot find anything on how to install suspended cabinets safe and secure... Help I don't have a wall to screw the cabinets into...I need a way to suspend with only the end cabinets screwed into the walls on the side and to each other. I need a stable way to mount them and be ensured that they they will bare loads...I hope this is making sense
Kitchen interior design help - how to proceed with these 2 tiles - white and purple?
My kitchen is 3.35 x 1.90 meters large. Kinda like a rectangle with a single window on one of the short sides.I found some tiles that are approx. 20x30 cm large. One kind is white and the other is dark grey violet with a glamour small stylized flowers design.Since they are so contrasting and since the kitchen is small I imagine I'll use the dark ones as an accent. I want to use tiles all the way up to the ceiling, not half. Also I hate checker designs and I dCan you please give me an idea how I should set those tiles, so they look good? Did you mean I set them up like bricks? Also, did you mean I make 1 3 purple, 2 3 white, or did you mean I try a " gradient effect" with those tiles?
