i have an antique rope bed made from some kind of light colored wood and would like to know what kind of wood it is
Looking to get information on vintage furniture?
i have a vintage dresser that has six bigger drawers, three on each side and three smaller drawers in the middle, i bought this from a storage unit auction. there are no tags or any information to lead me to learn what co made this piece or anything. it is a tan colored wood, the only information i have is a stamp that says gp hpd inspector number 3...can anyone give me any information about this piece.

Bad smell from ikea furniture?

well my sister in law a 2 dogs and she runied her furniture like her sorta kitchen table it onl y 5 yrs old and she let her dogs scratch it up on the corners. well you don't let your animals ruine your lovely furniture like that.my furniture i like new and i don t have any pets. if i had a pet I would leave it out side. not in the house, pets ruine furniture all the time. Thoes people in the house act like animals anyyways they don't know how to take care of anything that is new. it gets ruined all the time. well what do you think.
Do black frames go with brown furniture?
I love black frames with white matting, thats all i have around my home. over my bed i have 3 black frames with the white matting and black and white pictures. my bedroom set is dark brow, to be exact its the malm bedroom set fro ikea. lately ive been looking at the frames and they just dont seem to go with the bedroom set. i dont like things to be too matchy matchy so i didnt want to get brown frames. does anyone have any other suggestions?i was thinking of maybe changing the black and white pics to color to maybe brighten up the frames,any thoughts anyone?
